Our office here in Memphis is proud to have taken part in the Design-A-Wish 5K on July 16 for the fifth year in a row. The office volunteered to provide water and food to help fuel up and hydrate the over 200 runners who took part in the Design-A-Wish 5K at the Pink Palace Museum. We also raised $2,650 to benefit this important cause.

Our employees also volunteered at the registration station, the super soaker stations, and cheer stations, bringing the Morgan & Morgan difference to participating runners and children alike.

Organized by The International Interior Design Association and The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South, the Design-A-Wish 5K helps to raise funds used to grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Morgan & Morgan’s participation in the Design-A-Wish 5K helped to make more even wishes possible for these children.

2016’s Design-A-Wish 5K beneficiary participated in the event, presenting awards in the post-race award ceremony. His wish was to go to Hawaii, and Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to make it happen. His wish is among the thousands that the Make-A-Wish Foundation has helped to facilitate in their aim to improve the quality of life for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

The Design-A-Wish 5K is just one of the many charitable efforts in which our office has participated. We at Morgan & Morgan are devoted to supporting our community and will continue to do what we can to make children in the Mid-South smile.
