We are proud to announce the opening of our new, state-of-the-art tech center in the Liberty View Industrial Plaza on the waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The state-of-the-art facility will house our firm’s call center and marketing and branding departments, as well as the forward-thinking legal startup, Litify. What we look forward to is how our new tech center will allow us to work more efficiently for the people.
Our firm is already one of the largest personal injury firms in the country, with 34 offices in nine states, and the tech center will allow us to increase the already comprehensive quality of our service.
Over the years we have built a reputation for defending the people, not the powerful, and have won hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation for our clients. We are excited about the opportunity our tech center will provide to represent our clients even more effectively.
It doesn’t hurt that it looks great, too.
The 16,554 square-foot office has a distinctly modern design that still manages to convey the building’s 100-year-old history. Vibrant colors and sleek furniture are located throughout the office, effortlessly creating a positive working environment. The lounge area on the office’s south side even offers views of New Jersey, the Manhattan skyline, and the Statue of Liberty.
The building our tech center is situated in is eight stories tall, and encompasses an entire city block. Before its purchase in August 2011, the building was owned by the federal government, and was used as a warehouse for the U.S. Navy during WWI, and a uniform depot in WWII. Prior to its closing in 2000, the building housed the offices of various government agencies.
After its shuttering, the 1.3 million square-foot building fell into disrepair. Sixteen years, and $100 million in renovations later, the former warehouse is ready for our tech center, as well as some other noteworthy businesses.
A notable company joining our tech center in Liberty View Industrial Plaza is Amazon, who agreed in 2015 to open a distribution center within the freshly renovated industrial complex.
Bed, Bath & Beyond has also agreed to rent space to open four of its stores — Bed Bath & Beyond, Buybuy Baby, Cost Plus World Market, and Harmon Face Values — within the property, according to reports. Additionally, Saks Off Fifth has reportedly agreed to lease space, reports say.
We are excited to be one of the first businesses to move into Liberty View and take part in the rejuvenation of Sunset Park’s industrial area.
