The Melbourne office hosted a Grand Opening Party on November 12th and over 350 people, comprising local lawyers, doctors, judges, and others from Brevard County, attended the event. Among the guests were Mike Haridopolos, former President of the Florida Senate, and John Morgan, founder of Morgan & Morgan.
The new office will be staffed by 3 attorneys along with 15 staff members. The team will be made up of Derrick Connell, Edward Combs, and Michael Peacock. Mr. Connell will be the managing attorney for the office and, along with Mr. Peacock, will be handling personal injury cases. Mr. Combs will be handling Workers’ Compensation claims. Mr. Combs has been appointed to the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee for a three-year term and is a member of the ABA, FBA, and OCBA.
According to John Morgan, more attorneys will join the team as the office grows. “Our new beachhead in Brevard County will allow us to serve our clients in a much more efficient way. We look forward to being good neighbors and making a difference in people’s lives,” said Morgan.
