Biography Overview

After serving an extended internship with Broward County Public Defender’s Office, Clay Mitchell, Jr. began his civil trial career with a large insurance defense firm in Orlando, Fl. About four years later he was invited to join Morgan & Morgan’s trial team. Since 1998, he has litigated on behalf of wronged and injured individuals. He has won jury verdicts and reached settlement agreements in excess of one million dollars. As a trial attorney litigating a wide spectrum of torts, he has represented clients injured as a result of auto accidents, premises accidents, police misconduct, and sexual abuse among others. He is proud to represent the interest of those whom may otherwise be unable to achieve justice on their own.

Mr. Mitchell has been honored with the prestigious “AV rating” by Martindale-Hubbell, the preeminent national publication in the legal field. This rating is based upon evaluations by other lawyers in our state, and is the highest ranking attainable by an attorney for ability and ethics in the practice of law. It is a distinction reserved for a select few in the legal community.
