Biography Overview

Michael Fayard focuses his practice on personal injury cases where he seeks justice for people injured by the careless acts of others. Mr. Fayard brings a wealth of experience and understanding to his clients, which he has developed from handling a wide-range of cases in many different state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Fayard represented clients throughout the United States in both civil and criminal cases. He also contracted as trial counsel with several nation-wide Plaintiff firms handling Mass Tort and class action cases, including tobacco suits. Mr. Fayard’s experience also includes international cases and controversies where he successfully represented clients faced with extradition charges, fugitive warrants, and directly negotiating international transactions for corporate clients.

Mr. Fayard sharpened his courtroom abilities and trial skills while serving as a felony prosecutor as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida. He managed a caseload of well over 200 active felony cases. He also handled special assignments, such as organized drug trafficking (“pill mill”) cases, assigned to his division. Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Mr. Fayard handled hundreds of cases and gained invaluable experience as a trial lawyer.

Mr. Fayard has personally received Martindale-Hubbell’s esteemed “AV” rating, which recognizes lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability. Based on the recommendations of his peers, Mr. Fayard’s “AV” rating serves a testament to the fact that fellow attorneys consider him at the highest level of professional excellence.
