Biography Overview

A native Floridian, Laura Yaeger was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida State University earning a degree in English Education. Ms. Yaeger graduated with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1996. After law school, she was admitted to the Texas Bar and practiced law in Houston, Texas focusing on multi-district litigation, products liability, toxic torts and breach of contract actions. In May 2009, she graduated with honors from University of Houston Law Center obtaining her Masters in Health Law. While at University of Houston, Ms. Yaeger was awarded the 7th Annual Robert S. Toth LL.M Writing Award in 2009 for her article titled, Amendment 7: Medical Tradition v. The Will of the People, Has Florida’s Peer Review Privilege Vanished?.

Ms. Yaeger was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1999. In 2013, she was admitted to the Florida Bar. In 2005 and 2007, Ms. Yaeger was named by H Texas Magazine as one of its Top Young Professionals on the Fast Track. In 2008, she was named by H Texas Magazine as one of Houston’s Top Lawyers and as one of Texas’ Top Young Attorneys. Also in 2008, Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters publication, recognized Ms. Yaeger as a Texas Rising Star.

Ms. Yaeger has been a strong advocate for clients through individual litigation and nation-wide Multi-District Litigation. With a clear focus on the details of her client’s cases, combined with her unique experience and skill, Ms. Yaeger has proven her ability to achieve success in complex litigation involving defective drugs and medical devices. She has represented thousands of individuals that have been harmed by the conduct of others. Ms. Yaeger has managed large teams of associates, contract attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support assistants to accomplish various tasks related to all aspects of litigating complex mass actions without losing sight of the details of individual cases.
