Biography Overview

AnneMarie began her legal career in the courtroom as an Assistant Attorney General, trying cases throughout the state of Oregon on behalf of child victims of abuse and neglect.

She continued to protect the rights of those hurt by others as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, where she recovered millions of dollars in assets for crime victims, tried violent crimes, narcotics, money laundering, internet crimes and asset forfeiture cases in federal court, argued on behalf of the United States before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and served on the Attorney General’s Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Advisory Committee.

AnneMarie believes strongly in the dignity of labor and is honored to now use her courtroom and appellate skills to vindicate the rights of injured workers.

AnneMarie grew up in Florida and obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University. She attended law school at the University of Oregon, where she graduated Order of the Coif, was elected Student Bar Association and American Bar Association representative, and served on the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee and the Moot Court Board.
