Biography Overview

Alex Braunstein is an attorney in the West Palm Beach office of the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group. Mr. Braunstein has dedicated his career to seeking justice and fighting for those who have been wronged. He concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, including business torts, contract litigation, employment disputes, and real estate litigation. Mr. Braunstein is an experienced litigator with a track record of success.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Braunstein was a felony criminal prosecutor in the Organized Crime Unit of the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. He prosecuted nearly 60 jury trials to verdict and convicted perpetrators of some of the most violent criminal offenses, including Attempted First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Home Invasion Robbery, and Kidnapping. Mr. Braunstein has fought vigorously for victims during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

In addition to his litigation background, he grew up working in his parents’ small family business, which has given him a unique appreciation for the challenges that business owners face. He has firsthand experience starting a new business, effectively marketing that business, dealing with employment and contractual issues, as well as handling the acquisition and sale of businesses through broker services.

Mr. Braunstein received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Florida, where he was a Warrington College of Business Finance Scholar and a member of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree Cum Laude from the University of Florida Levin College Of Law. While in law school, Mr. Braunstein clerked for the Fourth District Court of Appeals, interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, and was an editor for both the Journal of Technology Law & Policy and the Florida Journal of International Law.
